New Price Tariff for 2020 Bookings

Bookings for Lihou House for 2020 will open at Noon on Thursday 1st August 2019 for Friends of Lihou members only - please go to the home page to book.

We have made the hard decision to increase some of our prices from the 1st January 2020. There has not been an increase for several years and this increase is simply the increase in inflation over the past few years.  We are a charity and need to ensure that we cover our costs in order to maintain and keep the house running.  

Along with this increase, we have decided to combine the Adult Organisation and the Family categories into one in order to simplify the charging structure. The Warden Activity charge will remain at £280 per 24 hours house hire cost.

See below the table of new charges - please note when booking for next year that currently the website will calculate your booking based on this year’s prices as we cannot change this on the website until the 1st January 2020.

Also please note that we have the introduction of a Cancellation Charge of £20 to be charged for all booking cancellations, irrespective of when the cancellation is made - cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the booking will not receive a refund. We do very much regret the introduction of this charge, however as all the bookings are now done through our website and payments online, we get charged for each transaction - this year we have had a number of cancellations due to multiple bookings, resulting in the Lihou Charitable Trust loosing money against these cancelled bookings.
